With the mammoth feat of cycling from Melbourne to the Central Coast under his belt, local Terrigal resident Mark Slater asks you to join him for the inaugural Ride for Reason Fundraising Celebration Lunch.
The Ride for Reason campaign was established in an effort to create awareness and acceptance of mental health issues affecting Central Coast people from all walks of life. With more and more people touched daily by mental health, the need to stamp out the stigma associated with mental health issues is vital in creating a society where issues are discussed and worked through.
Coast Shelter is the charity to benefit from this fundraising event. They will use the proceeds to implement mental health programs in the community.
